#1 Hey guys, I have a Phase 90 and also a DIY one I built years ago (from GPCB maybe?). I am wondering if and how either of those could be modded. What I would like is being able to add the following (lifted liberally from this ): Depth pot Blend pot Volume pot 45/Normal/Script switch Any thoughts on this? Is it worth it?

Phase 90 mods In the summer on 2012 I was looking into a phase pedal. The obvious choice was the Phase 90 by MXR. Now they have a huge selection of phaser pedals. Sadly the one I wanted, script reissue with LED and DC power jack, was pretty expensive. The regular phase 90 was a lot less expensive compared to the script ones.

Re: Phase 90: Matched 2N5952 or just any J201. I think it comes down to whether you are likely to need a lot of transistors in your inventory along with a few sets of matched transistors. If you are doing multiple builds of a pedal that needs them, then it makes sense to match the transistors yourself.
